Seminar One: Spring Liver Cleansing Chi Gong

This is a special Chi Gong form created by Grandmaster Zhang, based on his expertise in both Chi Gong and traditional Chinese medicine.

When Chi is in balance, the body is healthy. When Chi is out of balance, blocked, or depleted, sickness can result. Chi Gong works on the balance of energy to maintain a healthy body. Spring Liver Cleansing Chi Gong assists in preparing the body for the new year. Spring is the time to plant, extend, and grow; that is reflected in the extending, flowing movements of this Chi Gong form. The spring energy, which is associated with the liver, will be nourished, while the liver — the organ responsible for (among other things) detoxifying pollutants — will be addressed and supported.

Seminar Two: Simplified Sun Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a well-known form of Chinese exercise for health. At this seminar, a special, simplified Sun Style Tai Chi form suitable for teaching in one hour will be explored. Sun Tai Chi is unique among Tai Chi styles in that it incorporates three internal Chinese martial arts: Tai Chi Quan, Xingyi-quan, and Bagua-Zhang. Sun Tai Chi is appropriate for all ages and levels; it is especially beneficial for those who suffer from respiratory problems, but all may benefit from this graceful and meditative form.
