Public Health Safety at Heartwood

Posted on March 13, 2020

Hello Heartwood Community,

As a healthcare and wellness community, we deeply consider the responsibility of keeping our clients and patients safe while visiting our practitioners and have, therefore, decided to make a statement regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic.

In keeping with the tradition of Heartwood while taking into consideration the safety of our community, we have decided to keep the Heartwood building open for practitioner visits while using an increased amount of caution. Each practitioner will individually decide how to move forward in the coming weeks with continuing appointments. Please contact your individual practitioner to ensure their current policy regarding any suspension of their services or alternate plans for continuing care.

As a building, Heartwood will increase our cleaning procedures with disinfectants and are monitoring the situation carefully.

This being said, please, if you have recently traveled to any of the hotspots, have had contact with those who have traveled, if you feel unwell, under the weather, a little hesitant about your well-being or are exhibiting signs of sickness, stay home and contact your practitioner to reschedule or make alternate arrangements. We compassionately ask that we keep our fellow citizens in mind who may be elderly, immuno-compromised and or ill with other factors that make them more susceptible to this virus.

We hope everyone is well and, together, we will come through this difficult time healthy and ready to move forward.
