Lisa Meyerson
I am an NCCAOM board certified Acupuncturist and practicing since 2004 and have been licensed in Illinois since 2012. My primary specialty is in fertility support, women’s health and pain management. I also am extensively training in nutritional supplementation, herbology and energy healing (Reiki and Integrative Energy Technique). I apprenticed with Helen Wu studying gynecological herbology and in a two-year post-graduate Five Element Chinese medical theory internship with Lonny Jarrett. I began my acupuncture practice at Pulling Down the Moon, where I specialized in fertility and prenatal support. In four years there, I learned how essential acupuncture is in helping support women throughout the emotional and physical rollercoaster that fertility treatment can often be.
I graduated Cum Laude at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and hold a B.A. from Naropa University in dance performance and therapy, and utilize my training in kinesiology in my treatment sessions as needed.
