World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace in not the absence of violence. Peace is the manifestation of human compassion. – The Dalai Lama
Life Is not easy. Sometimes there seems to be so much turmoil and pain in our lives and in the world its almost too much to bear. But the Buddha taught that its possible to work with our minds and find peace in this world – as it is. His teachings provide instructions on another way to live. This talk will explore some basic principles that can help one begin to step out of the endless cycle of suffering, restore a sense of sanity to one’s life, and become a source of clarity, kindness and true help for others.
