YULE Winter Solstice: The Big Go Within

December 20, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A Ritual To Dive Into Darkness And Welcome The Return Of The Light

12/20/21 at Heartwood 6:00-8:00 PM

Facilitated by Grandmother Winter Jade Forest

Whenever we are involved in ritual, we are bringing the past into the present, and from the present, we’re moving into the future. And so, each of us human beings stands as the link between the past and the future. And that is so vital. We find ourselves in a much bigger  story than our own individual story, as important as that may be.

When we light candles at Yule, we are participating with every person who ever lit candles to honor the growing of the Light. And we bring the value of honoring the light — the light that sustains life, and the light within us — into our everyday lives, and into the future so that our next generations will benefit from it.

“May the wisdom within each being flourish and grow.

May our hearts give thanks for the dance of life.

Let us recognize that wisdom is within us, and like a wise caretaker, we caretake this wisdom.

The dance of life, luminosity, is an ongoing display in which we are a part.”

– Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo

We will meet upstairs in the Shrine Room. Attendance is limited to 25 people in order to facilitate social distancing. Therefore, registration is required. There is no registration fee, but it is traditional/customary to contribute a love offering if you are able (suggested: $25, but lesser and greater amounts are totally acceptable). To register, email Grandmother Winter Jade at grandmother@grandmotherwinter.com.

Grandmother WinterJade Forest

My extraordinary mentors of four different shamanic cultures showed me how to connect with Spirit, my purpose, and the power to improve my life. They put me through rigorous trainings and demanding initiation rites. They taught me their ancient healing traditions and trusted me to carry them on. I was ordained into the Cherokee priesthood in 2014 and began using my Medicine Name.

The NEW Medicine of the Old Ways takes into account that many people desire to connect more powerfully to their capacity for personal strength and happiness, but don’t have the option of leaving work and family to take part in the rigorous rituals of the Old Ways. So I created less demanding ways for people to absorb the wisdom teachings of Journeying, Totems and Guidance.

It is a blessing beyond measure to have been called to this work . . . and an honor to share it with you.
