Clinical Supervision is a special type of mentorship that provides and extra forum for practitioners. Naturally, advice on the typical topics of concern, such as questions regarding treatment strategies and practice-building skills, IS part of it. What makes it special is the opportunity for discussing one’s own issues of confusion, confidence, and the like. Supervision allows time and attention for discussing matters that relate to feelings and triggers that get in your way.

In Clinical Supervision, you can receive pointers and advice for dealing with problems like: feeling out of your depth; emotional exhaustion or breakdown; sexual attraction; not knowing how to interpret your findings; how to present yourself to, and partner with, other practitioners; dealing with difficult clients and difficult cases; etc.

Participants must be willing and able to create a warm, embracing atmosphere of deep trust, comfort and confidentiality where all are safe to go deep and explore, expand, evolve and mature – a place to thrive, flourish and blossom into the healer you aspire to be!

My extraordinary mentors of four different shamanic cultures showed me how to connect with Spirit, my purpose, and the power to improve my life. They put me through rigorous trainings and demanding initiation rites. They taught me their ancient healing traditions and trusted me to carry them on. I was ordained into the Cherokee priesthood in 2014 and began using my Medicine Name.

The NEW Medicine of the Old Ways takes into account that many people desire to connect more powerfully to their capacity for personal strength and happiness, but don’t have the option of leaving work and family to take part in the rigorous rituals of the Old Ways. So I created less demanding ways for people to absorb the wisdom teachings of Journeying, Totems and Guidance.

It is a blessing beyond measure to have been called to this work . . . and an honor to share it with you.
