Yang Tze Michuan Taiji Quan was originally developed as a system of martial arts by the Yang family. Over many years of practice, students of this system began to understand that with balanced martial practice came amazing health benefits. Tai Chi Chuan has evolved into a martial art that emphasizes the importance of maintaining ones health. The Secret Yang Tai Chi Chuan class provides instruction in The 8 Essential Movements Chi Kung set, The Secret Yang Tai Chi Chuan form and traditional martial arts body strengthening exercises. Elements of Tai Chi Chuan studied in class are; relaxation, good posture, focus, and proper spirit. The class is physically and mentally challenging, “simple, not easy”.
Malenga Charles Wagner has been studying and teaching martial arts for over 30 years. He is a sixth generation practitioner of Imperial Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan certified by his teacher Nganga Mfundishi Y. T. Tolo Naa.
