Step into Summer with Chi Gong!
May 30, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until July 18, 2019
Summer Chi Gong for Health focuses on simple, purposeful movements that emphasize deep breathing, stretching, and gradual building of strength and flexibility. It includes a number of animal forms, so if you’re curious about Stretching Tiger, Standing Bear, or White Crane Flies Over the Ocean, this is your chance to learn!
Chi Gong — the mother of Tai Chi — is an ancient Chinese form of exercise and moving meditation that strengthens the body, calms the mind, and encourages the free flow of the life force. Chi Gong may help with high blood pressure, sense of balance, depression, mental focus, stress management, lack of energy, and sleep problems. Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine have used Chi Gong to encourage relaxation, reduce stress, and address insomnia for hundreds of years.

Hello and be well! My name is Michelle Bobier. I have been studying Tai Chi and Chi Gong for 24 years with Master Hongchao Zhang, one of the leading Chinese martial arts masters in America; Master Zhang awarded me a Sixth Duan in Chi Gong in 2015. Additionally, I am a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist who completed the 700-hour BCST training at 3rd Coast Craniosacral of Evanston. Additionally, I studied lymphatic work at the School of Inner health in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The three modalities come together in my wellness practice, reSource Wellness, in Wilmette. My mission is to create a space where people can feel a sense of safety, peace, comfort and support; tap into their resources for healing; and achieve deep rest that can lead to profound change. If you would like information about Chi Gong, craniosacral, or lymphatic work, please feel free to visit my website, below.
