Heartwood Owner and Executive Director Nancy Floy is pleased to announce the beginning of a new chapter for Heartwood Center. After 10 years at its current location in downtown Evanston, Heartwood is moving to a new home just a single mile away.

Located between Asbury and Dodge, Heartwood is now the flagship business in the renovated building. Now Open!

Nancy Floy and her husband Asang (Executive Director of Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston) purchased the new building which will include all the amenities currently offered by Heartwood, including office space rentals, a common office area for practitioners and a bigger studio/classroom space for yoga, tai chi and more. In addition to Heartwood Center, this location will provide space for Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston, Heartwood's Women and Cancer Program and the Northside Rebuilding Exchange, a green company that works with recycled building materials.

Many of the nine new treatment rooms feature natural light, while the waiting area, kitchen and storage space are expanded. The yoga and tai chi studio is on the second floor with hardwood floors and streaming light. The building has multiple bathrooms, all wheelchair accessible. There are slate stone floors, granite, beautiful glasswork, lots of light, but most of all the feeling is uplifted and very beautiful and peaceful. The Dempster bus that picks up at the Davis stop arrives in front of our building in about 10 minutes.
